Fine Art Print Information

Most of my images are sold as limited editions of 100 inclusive of all sizes and styles. These limited editions are only available from this website. A small number of images (34) are sold as unlimited editions and these may also be found for sale on art warehouse websites. The image files for these unlimited editions will be prepared much more precisely and carefully by myself - resulting in prints of higher quality compared to other sources. I also offer some styles not generally available elsewhere. If an image is unlimited, that fact will appear in the description at the bottom of each image page. All prints come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
I offer 5 different options for my prints, which primarily vary in readiness to hang and reflectivity:

Print Only - Matte or Pearl Finish - Not Ready to Hang
As the name implies, these are just the print only - they are not ready to hang. These have the advantage of allowing any type of framing you wish and are less expensive than some of the other options. These prints are full tone chromogenic prints on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper which has a wide color gamut, and is fade resistant for at least 75 years. Fujicolor Crystal Archive Matte is a traditional professional matte surface paper with minimal texture and sheen, showcasing vibrant, true-to-life colors. The matte finish is less reflective compared to the luster finish, but the luster finish is more color saturated. I personally prefer the matte finish. A photo of a print with a matte finish appears below. Although this was taken on a table next to a very large window, notice the lack of reflections. Fujicolor Crystal Archive Pearl features a glossy surface with very sharp detail, high intensity colors, and a distinctive pearl-like appearance.
If ordering a print only, please handle it carefully from opposite corners, with artists gloves, as these are very easy to kink. It’s best to let a professional framer do all the handling and framing.

Dibond Mounted Print - Ready to Hang - Very Low Reflectivity
Dibond® is a rigid, durable aluminum composite material about 1/8″ thick that combines two thin layers of aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. These characteristics make Dibond an outstanding lightweight, archival mounting board for fine art. Dibond prints are created by first printing the image onto professional photo paper then mounting that print to a Dibond sheet. A sheet of matte laminate is then applied to the front of the print which provides protection and greatly reduces reflections. The back of the print is finished for hanging with an aluminum inset frame. The final artwork has a total thickness of 1/8" and floats 3/4” off the wall. Dibond prints are a great choice when reflections are a concern, such as near a window.

Epic Prints on Aluminum - Ready to Hang - High Reflectivity
Epic Prints are made by first printing the artwork onto Fuji Crystal Archive Photographic Paper and then mounting the print to an aluminum sheet. A sheet of laminate is then applied to the front of the print which provides protection. The back of the print is finished for hanging with a aluminum inset frame and an included French cleat and hardware. The final artwork floats off the wall.
Note that this is a different from the the traditional metal print where dyes are infused into the surface of the aluminum. I prefer Epic Prints as they have a similar glossy look and feel of printing directly onto aluminum, but have greater clarity and detail. This type of print has a high reflectivity and probably should not be placed near a window.

TruLife Acrylic Face Mount -Ready to Hang - Low Reflectivity
TruLife acrylic face mounts are a modern, brilliant display that many feel are the ultimate photographic presentation. Acrylic face mounts are created by first printing to professional grade paper and then reverse mounting the print to TruLife acrylic for optimal vibrancy, color accuracy and longevity. Unlike traditional glass, where light simply passes through, the light refracts within the acrylic creating tremendous vibrancy and color fidelity. TruLife acrylic substantially reduces outer surface reflections compared to standard acrylic. The back of the print is finished for hanging with an aluminum inset frame and an included French cleat and hardware. The final artwork floats off the wall.
